I.P.S.E.O. “Aldo Moro” di Santa Cesarea Terme
L’Istituto Professionale Servizi per l’Enogastronomia e l’Ospitalità alberghiera I.P.S.E.O. “Aldo Moro” di Santa Cesarea Terme nasce nel 1967. Da allora offre eccellenti percorsi professionali a quanti intendano impegnarsi con successo e immediato riscontro nel campo dell’ospitalità e della ristorazione.
Per consuetudine ormai consolidata, già in costanza di frequenza gli studenti conoscono periodi di alternanza scuola-lavoro in importanti realtà produttive, come peraltro indica la riforma scolastica in atto.
Circa il 100% degli studenti, alla fine del percorso formativo trova collocazione lavorativa e una conferma indiretta ci giunge dai dati ISTAT che ci parlano ancora di numerose posizioni lavorative disponibili nel mercato del lavoro nazionale nei campi della pasticceria industriale ed artigianale, dell’ospitalità, dell’enogastronomia, del catering, dei servizi bar e ristorante.
L’Istituto conta circa 1.300 Allievi e oltre 180 Docenti, è membro della Association Européenne des Ecoles D’Hotellerie (AEHT) e possiede una certificazione di Qualità ISO 9001:2008. Collabora con Istituzioni, gruppi imprenditoriali, scuole a livello nazionale ed internazionale. È coinvolto in scambi con omologhe Istituzioni europee ed extraeuropee anche grazie ad un sapiente utilizzo dei fondi comunitari e dal 2006, come membro della rete nazionale “Il Milione”, ha ospitato e formato studenti cinesi provenienti dalla città di Yangzhou, nella provincia di Jiangsu.
Nel 2012 ha avviato una collaborazione con l’importante centro turistico giordano di Aqaba, sul Mar Rosso. Inoltre, nel 2015, sempre grazie a fondi comunitari, ha inviato numerosi gruppi di allievi ad incrementare le proprie competenze fra Edimburgo, Parigi, Vilnius, Berlino, Dublino e Londra presso prestigiose strutture ricettive come l’Hilton Metropole.
Nel 2016 ha ottenuto dal MIUR l’importante riconoscimento di rappresentare l’eccellenza del Made in Italy enogastronomico in Vietnam e Canada.
In particolare, il prestigioso evento canadese è Italian Day On The Drive, si è svolto a Vancouver il 12/06/2016, mentre in Vietnam la delegazione di Istituto opererà dal 30 settembre al 08 ottobre 2016.
Dall’ottobre 2004 gli adulti che non abbiano potuto completare il loro percorso formative, o che vogliano incrementare le proprie competenze professionali, possono frequentare con profitto i suoi ottimi corsi serali.

The Vocational High School for Tourism, Hospitality & Gastronomy
I.P.S.E.O. “Aldo Moro” – Santa Cesarea Terme
“Aldo Moro” Vocational High School for Tourism, Hospitality & Gastronomy (IPSEO “Aldo Moro” in Italian) was established as a Catering School in Santa Cesarea Terme, a Spa resort in southern Apulia, in 1967. Since then, it has offered excellent educational and training paths for those students willing to take up successful and immediate careers in the hospitality industry.
Still while attending school, students are trained in big enterprises, therefore being able to experience the real world of work, as expected by the new Italian vocational school reform. Almost 100% of the students attending the school are able to find a job when they finish their studies. An indirect confirmation comes from a survey carried out by the National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT): according to its results, job careers and positions in the industrial and hand-crafted pastry, hotellerie, catering, bar and restaurant service sectors are always available.
‘A. Moro’ Vocational High School for Tourism, Hospitality & Gastronomy has 1,300 students and over 180 teachers. It is a member of the Association Européenne des Ecoles D’Hotellerie (AEHT) and it has obtained an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Certification. It cooperates with various authorities, enterprises, schools, both at national and international level. It has been involved in exchanges with European and extra-European schools, thanks to the E. U. Programmes and since 2006, as a member of the national network “Il Milione” (‘The travels of Marco Polo’), has hosted Chinese students coming from the city of Yangzhou, Jiangsu province.
A co-operation with the important Jordan city of Aqaba – tourist resort on the Red Sea coast – has been established in 2012. In addition, thanks to the funds provided by the European Projects, various groups of students can improve their skills and their foreign languages knowledge abroad, as in 2015 happened in Edinburgh, Paris, Vilnius, Berlin, Dublin and, last but not least London, also experiencing a prestigious professional location at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel.
IPSEO ‘Aldo Moro’, entrusted by the Italian Ministry for Education, will be honoured to represent the Italian excellence in wine and gastronomy in Vietnam and Canada.
The prestigious Canadian event for the valorization of the Made in Italy products – ‘Italian Day on the Drive’ – has been held in Vancouver in June 2016, while the Vietnamese experience will take place from 30th September to 08th October 2016.
Since October 2004, adults who have not completed their education or willing to acquire brand new professional knowledge and skills can attend its excellent evening classes.
